Star Wars Revelation

Was flying back from my Christmas holiday in California and discovered I had Stars Wars Revelation on my Sony PSP. As I had not watched it yet, I promptly did so. No too bad to be honest. Watching videos on such a big screen is great couple of people glanced over.

Once home, I perused the Apple iTunes downloadable videos section which set me off thinking. The number of downloadable videos on the iTunes site is growing daily with pretty good stuff too. The question is, what is Sony doing? Nothing of course. They have a good device, but provide nothing for it as usual. Sony have had years of warning, but still do nothing. What up with that?

Interestingly enough, other companies aren't doing much about it either, yet they still do nothing.

I am almost tempted to get a video iPod. Again, they are capturing a new market.

I completely agree. The iPod revolution has eaten EVERY portable media device manufacturer for breakfast, lunch, and soon....dinner. Sony owns the content, but they're licensing it to Apple, and not providing their own business model to sell this stuff. Silly. Just silly.

But it is so good to see Apple come back big after being screwed by MS in the early days. Can you believe that about seven years ago Apple was almost dead!

I suppose a lot of the big boys, Sony included, made licensing agreements before they realized just what a hit iPod would become.

Yeah, good ol' Apple....who does not allow shipping to APOs, leaving all the Military/Government folks SOL.

(They say "Buy it locally..." Yeah, right. Like any of us really want all the documentation in German, or Turkish, or whatever.)

Please don't forget it was MS that bailed Apple out.

with the buying of 40% of apple, right? Got IE on Apple's... oh well. :)

I must be the only person who doesn't get this whole "mobile media" thing. I got a portable Cd player for my car with a tape adapter LAST YEAR. :) I don't even think about a portable movie player! :)
