Vegas 14 After clicking on the 'start all projects with these settings'., these do not appear when opening a new project , which stays at system defaults.
I normally use a master template - so its not a major issue, but would be nice.

Here no problem.
My setting at "Start all new projects with these settings" is FHD 50p.
Stopping another projecttype and opening a new project gives me FHD 50p

What happens if instead you click on 'Project' > 'New'? For me the dialogue box comes up with the default setting not the saved ones.
The same happens if I open 14 afresh - it opens in the default settings. Vegas 13 seems to be OK in this respect.

I agree in version 13 both options do the same, in 14 there is one option for experienced users and one for beginners and precising your projectsetting that will suite your goal.
Thanks , but surely its 13 with the simple and advanced options- that option seems to have disappeared on 14 - or have I missed a setting somewhere?
Vegas 12 also adopts the saved settings when using 'Project' > 'New', so I do think this is probably one of those little bugs that the team will iron out in the not too distant future.
For me - no biggie as I always start with a pre-saved master project which has other bits and pieces I regularly use.
Tim-Frost is correct, the "start all projects with these settings" is broken. I tried it several times, and it keeps defaulting to 30fps, when i always work in 24fps.
