In V13, build 373:
When trying to open a saved .veg file (in which I have imported many video clips of varying formats), a modal pops up saying "Sony Media Manager Starting Database Service..." with a cancel button. This process hangs...clicking "Cancel" disables the dialog for many seconds until it finally closes.
Meantime, the load of the .veg hangs as well, at the percentage point (~ 92%) where the modal popped up.
At which point, all I can do is shut Vegas down via program manager.
Correction: the Starting database service happens regardless of whether I am opening a .veg or not. The timing described above was coincidental.
Anybody have any ideas what is going on? I assume there is an asset that is causing this during load time, but I am unable to determine which one. (I can't find a log file anywhere.)
