Startup Crash

I was editing a footage, had about 3 minutes of edited video, when the program had an error and had to close. Now every single time I open Movie Studio (I have 9.0b build 92) it refuses to load all the individual clips in that file and crashes again and again and again. It looks like the program itself is running into an error each time it tries to open the file. I'm almost certain that it is not my system settings because my computer is only 6 months old. Please, any help would be much appreciated

So VMS luanches but when you do a File>Open (or File> Project name) on that project it crashes? If so something about that .vf file is corrupt. VMS does an autobackup every few minutes (dependent on how the Options are set). You may find a .vf.bak that you can use to get you going.

If you're not already doing so, it is highly recommended to do a Save As every so often giving and adding an number to the project name so if such an event happens, you can go back to an earlier version. It's not uncommon for me to get up to 25 and higher when editing.

FSU, Did you resolve your startup crash issues with tips on here? Just curious as I'm facing the same problem. I've tried the tips in the forums, but no results. Also, how long was your timeline when you developed the problem? It seems like mine has to do with beginning to edit beyond a certain time - about 40 minutes or so. That may not be it at all, but something I noticed. thx.
