Static blsts on Vegas 4 renders?

Hello all. I've just upgraded to Vegas 4 and rendered some mixes. During some (but not all) crossfades, I get a short static burst on the wave file I render. This hasn't ever happened with earlier versions of Vegas. Has anyone else run into this? Is there anything i can do to fix it? BTW, this occasionally happens on playback as well, but not as often.

Matt

I've been getting these too- anyone noticed that they always happen in the same places? I put markers on them to prove it. they appear when I do a render-to-new-track or a direct cd burn, while the project will play-out fine. they look like a tiny section of phase reversal, not that SF were interested in this theory... they told me it was a known issue and would be addressed in next release and meanwhile could I figure out a workaround for myself? sure.... I'll go back to v2 and forget about cutting any video for now, and the $600....
as for "rtff"- I've been looking at the forum for an hour now on a fast connection and just found this thread. try to be more helpful- it doesn't hurt.

thanks for that. looks like 4.0b will fix this anyway.
not being an a-hole or anything, but I tried this in the search tool and still got over 2500 results:
"new track" + "vegas" + "bug" + "render" + "audio"
what am I doing wrong? how did you find those items so quickly?
