Static Mattes

I'm trying to use one of Digital Juice's static mattes to overlay 2 video clips. The setup is this: matte on top channel, video I wish to show through the black cutout of the matte on channel 2, and a third video on channel 3 which I wish to show through on the matte's border. I have the matte defined as the parent track and have selected the unmatted alpha. The other 2 channels are both child tracks. i am confused as to what to do now. i have been fiddling around with each of the 3 channel's compositing modes, but can only get the video on channel 2 to show up correctly. The video on channel 3 will not appear in the matte's border.
Anyone familiar with this process?

Thanks!!

Figured it out. For anyone looking to do this in the future - 3 tracks, 2 child tracks. Parent track luminence mask, then compositing mode multiply mask.. Works like a charm.
