I used Steadyhand with film captured from a Workprinter. This is, in essence, progressive video. I told Steadyhand to treat it as Progressive. In Steadyhand, click on "Settings" then on "Options." In the first tab ("Options" tab), make sure that "Enable Interlaced Support" is not checked.

Thanks for the tip, I had tried that previous, and it still doesn't make a difference. So just to make sure I tried it in several configurations, DV and AVI both, NTSC and PAL both, and I even tried custom settings of 0 in everything and no edge correction and it still does it. I'm dropping a line to Dynapel, but this program seems useless on the 24p clips I'm working on.

Thanks again!

Have you already converted to 29.97? If so, try doing Steadyhand on the 24p footage. It doesn't work well with video after it has gone through pulldown.

I've got to do some research, maybe I captured the clips wrong, but they are 29.97 clips. I'll let you know, Thanks again!!!!!!!!

If you right-click on the clip in Vegas, the Properties should tell you whether it is 24p or 29.97. If it is 24p, you should definitely use Steadyhand before you change it to 29.97.

It is 24p in Vegas, however windows property says it is 29. I did render to a new track a 24p file and tried that. Lot different result. Still not a useable clip, but I'll keep trying. Thanks for the help!
