Stereo audio track

Hello,

I make videos where I film myself in FaceCam and that I publish on Youtube.

The audio file of my voice has 2 waves.

Should I position it only on a vegas pro audio track? or rather copy the file and position them on 2 different audio tracks (100% left for the 1st and 100% right for the second)?

If the recording of my voice has only one wave, do I have to copy the track and position them on 2 different audio tracks?

Until now, I placed 2 audio files of my voice on 2 different tracks on Vegas Pro, but is it useful?

What would make my voice stand out best?

Hi @JH26, spoken word dialog, narration and VOs are usually recorded in single-track mono. Assuming there is no spacial information you want (typically in music or S/FX), only use one track and confirm the track is panned to center. Rendering will produce a dual-mono two-channel file that will playback equally in both the left and right channels.
