Stereoscopic 3D mode color issue

Greetings fellow editors,

So I've looked around the Internet looking for something that might help me with this, but alas I'm still not satisfied with what I've found.

I have Stereoscopic 3D mode enabled in Project Settings so that I can add Stereoscopic 3D Adjust to certain clips.

However, when enabling 3D mode, the coloring of the video goes off kilter and becomes desaturated. I try adding Saturation Adjust or Color Corrector to bring the color back up, but it still appears off from what it looks like originally.

I also add my own custom color correction to my clips, and it especially interferes with certain colors like reds and yellow tones.

I was wondering if anyone knew of a better fix for this issue, as I really like to be able to use 3D mode but it sucks that it sort of messes up my video's coloring...And there apparently isn't a way to just enable 3D mode exclusively for individual tracks or clips.

Any assistance on this problem would be much appreciated!

It appears to me that when you pair two clips as a stereoscopic subclip the video event FX for one or the other clips seems to be lost, i.e. it only retains the FX assigned to one of the clips (the left, I suspect). If you are color correcting the left and right clips separately, then combining them, perhaps this is what's happening.

There are probably better ways to do this...but two tricks I'd try are:

Render the corrected clips to an intermediate clip, then combine the intermediates as a stereo clip.

or

Create a side-by-side intermediate: Create a non-3D project twice as wide as the original clips. Color correct each clip as desired. Use pan/crop to place the left and right clips side-by-side and render. Read this intermediate into a normal width 3D project as a side-by-side full clip and apply stereoscopic adjustments.
