Sticky posts

This is more towards the sony guys who are administering the forum. I think it would be a great idea to have a couple of good sticky posts. There are so many topics that are reasked every week, it would be nice to have the top 5 or so posts be sticky such as (external monitor, color correction, plugins etc etc).

Nice thought, but in reality, the first 2-3 pages would be nothing but sticky posts if it was made for FAQ's....Maybe an FAQ would be better, but something tells me that folks won't look at an FAQ any more than they'll search the forum.

That is probably true, but at least you could leave short answers, like "read item #9 in the FAQ." I have asked for a FAQ several times, and would still like to see one that was part of the forum.

I agree there should be at least a single sticky FAQ with 5- 10 (?) of the obvious ones, and a link to off-site FAQs - ?

I personally hate stickys. I find them a waste of time. No one reads them anyways.

if they don't use the search they won't read stickys eigther.
