Set the preview display to Best / Full. Find the frame you want to capture and click the little floppy disk icon above the right corner of the preview. Name the image, choose JPG or PNG, and save.

I am using that option but here is what i am trying to do. While the film is playing in Vegas, i would like to be a ble to press capture while the film is rolling, and continue to capture still shots while the film is rolling. For example, when you insert a marker, you can do this continually without stopping the film as many times as you want. Is there a way to do this?

ONE more question please?! When the video is stopped and i use the arrow key to look at the film, is there a way to go frame by frame or less. Right now when i use the arrow key it is skipping through frames i would like to see. THanks again.

To move frame by frame, hold ALT down while using left and right arrows.

There are scripts that automate saving still images, and there are scripts that "do something" at every marker. I suppose the two could be combined to make a script that saves a still at every marker. In that case you could play though the video and press M wherever you wanted a still, then run the script afterwards.

Probably a good question for the scripting forum.
