If you used square pixels when you created the image, then yes, you need to "stretch them out."

Although, while I don't use Photoshop, I understand that some versions actually have a setting or template that you can use that makes or simulates non-square pixels. Check its help section.

I know about that setting in Photoshop. Its in Photoshop CS and all you do is go to new and it can simulate or change the aspect ratio to 16x9. Thats my question, do I have to use that or will DVD Arc do this for me as part of the rendering process? I have notice you can have both formats in the same project of DVD Arc, dose anyone know if it does this automaticly?

Why don't you simply add a still image to your project and see what happens? You can see how DVDA will handle it simply by previewing your project.

I have tried that, but unfortunatly, I do not have a 16x9 $5000 flat screen TV! The only way to really test stuff out is to make disc and play it on both types of TV. Or ask question and read help files which is why I am here.

If you build it using a widescreen template and prepare using a widescreen template, won't your DVD player detect that it is 16:9 and show it with the black bars top and bottom on a normal TV set?
