Still image output?

I was surprised to see that there is no still-image output from VV3. I'm processing a LOT of 2D images in Photoshop and I could really use the old film effects on some images BEFORE I take them into PS. I couldn't see any way to do this. Anyone know how to do this?

In the video preview window there's a disk icon(save timeline snapshot to file) that allows you to save a .png or .jpg image.
