Also included in UltimateS 2 , which is also from VASST. Cool stuff.

I liked the use of different aspect ratios for the picture (i.e., something other than full screen or portrait crop of 35mm aspect). I need to do more of that. Also like the cartoon balloons. I'm sure they were also popular with your audience.

Excellent! Great use fo that W - i - d - e openning shot. I did notice the final "reversed" text on "Seth's" (?) vest. Yeah, "Yah can't always get what you want . . . " . . Nit picking Grazie 'ere!

I'd have had the "Shout" of the coach starting "tight" on his mouth and then zoom out.

The balloons were great. And the animations - Pythonesque - were great too!

Where was it shown? What response did you get?

Thanks for sharing,

Graham

Every year for the last three years I've taken photos at the meets. Starting with my little Cannon Elf I found that it was just as easy to take photos of all of the kids and not just my two. So I put together a little slide show in Vegas. Now I'm doing it for the track team too. Once I got my new Nikon D70 with two 1gig cards, I found the numbers of photos was too much to handle the old way. With SM I'm able to put 50-60 photos in a song in a snap.

The coach is often the butt of the jokes - the guys seem to really like that turn around is fair play stuff... (He really isn't 4 ft tall as I got him looking there)

This past year I ended up with just under a half hour of video that covered the whole season. I showed it from my laptop through a projector on a nice big screen.. Had I thought of it I would have started the projects at the full resolution of the projector...but still it looks quite good. The kids and parents seem to enjoy it.

I'll post a few more sections later. I was worried about my server space when I started sharing links to video... but as it turns out I barely use 2% of the monthly bandwidth...so more video to come.
