just wondering if there is a way to randomise photos.
Im doing a graduation dvd and have approx 950 photos and want them to be randomised...
there must be a quicker way to randomise 950 photos???
Excalibur and Ultimate S will both easily do this. They will also help automate the task of creating the actual montage. Check out scripts because they can easily solve needs such as this.
This is a great little tool that will allow you to change filenames. It has a randomizer that will shuffle your files, then you just rename with a numbered prefix and you have a shuffled file order.
You mean to get them to play randomly from the DVD? Or do you want a one-time randomization done in Vegas and then written to the DVD? All the answers so far give you a one-time randomization, which should be enough considering how many stills you have. Who could remember the order?
In DVD-A there is a random button (the button is not random it is always there) but only for still stills imported into a slide show, there is the option of doing pan and scan in DV-A now.
Thank you zcheema! You broadened my horizons!
Is there any way to add transitions to those pics opened in DVD-A?
and/or
that pan and zoom tool, does is exist in V7 or V8?
Thanks in advance.
OGUL,
The Slide-show with Pan and Zoom is new in V8 [DVDA 4.5]. Unfortunately there are no transitions available! I mean, without transitions the pan and zoom is useless to me.
