Stills pics with Flash Animations

I am working on a still picture dvd slideshow with cropping and panning effects. I plan to give some variety to the project by varying the effects and the transitions, however, there seems to be only so much you can do without it becoming boring.

I was thinking of integrating flash animations that either contain the some of the stills or are simply over top of the stills. Unfortunately I have no reference point on how or what to do with this idea. Has anyone ever come across this type of thing? Any pointers would be much appreciated.
thx.

Check out www.wildform.com They have programs that will render flash to .avi files that you can then use in Vegas. You can render with alpha channels, too. Thay also have some really cool special effect presets.
Their entire product line is reasonably priced...sound better than cheap...how about inexpensive.

Flash makes some cool titles..and your right..they can liven up a production.

Snicholshms,

Thanks for that link! I've been checking out their wildfx pro app and it does seem to make titling/text animating very easy. Is the quality of the rendered file good to include in (broadcast) video? Is it easy to work with Vegas? (as in, adjusting the length of the animated text etc...) I think this might make a good complement/alternative titling tool for Vegas (rather than climbing that steep and $$$ demanding Boris Garffitti...)
I would welcome your first hand opinion before I pull out my credit card....I am very tempted though (I'm working on a video for a corporation and if it is any good quality wise it might save me some hours...)

Thanks in advance,

Paul.
