"Stop" on Remote Control

Just played back my first attempt at a DVD. I can see where I've gone wrong most of the time but I need help on one issue which I just can't resolve.

During playback of the movie if I hit "Stop" on the remote control the movie stops and I get the menu page of the DVD player whereas I want to get the first menu page i.e title page of the DVD.

Can anybody help me please?

Thanks

Unfortunately, you have no control over the action taken by the player. What the "Stop", "Top Menu", "Title Menu" and other buttons on the remote do is a function of the player - not the DVD.

However, my experience is that "stop" in the players I use here causes the player to go to the end of the currently playing chapter, so it may be a simple case of setting the "end action" of that chapter to the desired menu page.

Steve

Many thanks for your rapid response. I'm encouraged that it could be my player and not my editing!

I'm no expert but I think the end action is already set to the aforementioned first menu page so I'll probably leave it for now.

Thanks again
