Strange behavior adding plug-ins with Filter Package

I'm trying to prep a fairly large number of clips for rendering individually. So I have them all on the timeline, then used Vegasaur to batch stabilize all of them using Mercalli 4. After that is done, when I go back and click on a filter package that contains 3 plug-ins to create the look I want to a clip, I find that applying that filter package to any clip deletes Prodad Mercalli from that clip. Is that normal behavior? Is there a way to avoid that? Yes, I could apply the Mercalli after I've applied the filter package, but I prefer to apply Mercalli first, to see if the stabilization makes the clip usable, before investing additional time.

Applying a single plug-in does not delete Mercalli.

Suggestions?

That's the way applying an FX Package works. Two workarounds:

- Use Vegasaur instead.

- Create an FX Package which contains Mercalli in first place (though it looks like this isn't what you need).
