Strange Error when starting Vegas MS

All of a sudden I get this message when starting Vegas MS:

Box saying "16 bit Windows Subsystem"
C:\windows\system32\autoexec.nt. The systemfile is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows Applications.

Other applications working fine. Must be a corruption somewhere ?

The file "autoexec.nt." does not exist in the directory and the file name does not make sense.

Help... anyone ?

Found the problem!

The autoexec.nt was simply missing in the directory.
I simply copied the file from my other PC and now it works.

Talk about a confusing message!
