strange holes in menu bar

i have upgraded to windows 7 and vegas pro9e and im experiencing a strange graphical error. It occurs on when i slide the mouse to the menu bar where the file... edit ... view buttons are

at times when i move the mouse over these they turn black and black squares appear.

has anyone experienced the same problem

I haven't experienced this but my first place to look would be for an updated driver for your graphics card.

This is something that has occurred off and on ever since Vegas 2. It is a minor memory issue. Sometimes it can be fixed by minimizing Vegas and bringing it back. Otherwise it may be time to save your project, close and reopen Vegas. You may want to play with your video memory allocation in BIOS, also turn off screen background, turn off the sidebar, turn off window transparency etc.

Yup, me too. I hadn't cleaned up my sys disc for sometime - I was around 8gb on a 150gb - not good . . . . Evidenced by a holed Toolbar.
