I have been using DVDA for three years and have never had this happen. I render AVIs from Vegas and let DVDA prepared the dvd files. I then use nero to burn the disks.
I prepared a disk, thought I tested it and burned 15 copies. Last night when testing a sample I attempted to forward to the next chapter and it froze. Additional testing indicates that this occurs only in one specific chapter. I can also duplicate the problem on three different players.
Went back to the DVDA file and noticed there were a couple of extra chapter markers in that sectionof the video. Thinking they could be responsiblet, I deleted the excess markers and attempted to prepare the DVD file again. During the short rendering I received a message that it was unable to complete rendering MPG file information is missing.
Rather than use the smart render I started over, same message. I was unable to identify which file was causing the problem and ended up preparing a new DVDA project. (not necessarily a bad thing as I learned how to use playlists)
Has anyone experienced this problem before? Anyideas on causes?
