strange syncing issue that cannot be explained (video enclosed)

right click, save as.. 2.7 meg video

if anyone has any ideas please let me know.. also i noticed that when i zoom out it moves a larger distance.. up to a few seconds off at times.. please help.. my business is based around this software and i dont want to have to go back to premiere

well i just dug up 4.0 and the problem doesnt exist on it.. so at least i know its not my computer thats having the problem..

also here are some specs if it helps
P4 3.4
915PBL mobo
1GB ddr2 533
1TB hd space.. ide 7200 rpm drives for all four of those.

I'm suspecting this has something to do with having Snap To Grid turned on.
Regardless of that though I don't see how this behavior will have any effect on A/V sync.
