streaking video on capture

I have VF 1.0 when I try and capture a clip from DV the video preview streaks by vertically so that it can't be viewed. WHen I play back the captured clip it is fine. When I preview befroe capture it is fine. Only during the capture is it bad. What is wrong?

Download the VF2 demo and install it. The video capture is fully functional (but not print-to-tape). You could even change the settings for your VF1 capture program to point to vidcap25.exe.
