Stream Attributes Could Not be Determined????

I took some video on my Canon A620 camera. When I try and import the clip into my Vegas Studio Platinum 6.0, I get the audio, but no video. I see the message "stream attributes could not be determined". How can I fix this, if I can. I can play the clip in my windows media player just fine.

Check out which video codec the camera uses and try to install the codec in the system in a way Vegas can access it.

Odds are you need an MJPEG codec. Check out the How do I open AVI files create by still cameras? tip on jetdv's site for some options.
