Streaming requirements: Can Vegas 5 do this?

I'm going to be selling a DVD through an on-demand website. As part of the e-store that you get, you can include a streaming trailer.

Here is what they suggest (it has to be Quicktime):

"We generally recommend you use these compression settings as a starting point for 60 second trailers: Sorenson Video 3 with 2-pass VBR, at 240x180 pixels, 15fps, 168kbit/s; and MP3 (or MPEG-4) audio at 22kHz mono, 32 kbit/s. "

I think Vegas 5 can do the Sorensen 3 (not sure about the 2-pass VBR or the specified bitrate, since the splash screen for the included Sorensen 3 says "one-pass" VBR is "Off" - does that mean 2-pass is on?).
However I see no option for specifying MP3 as the audio format. The default for 56 or 100 Kbps is IMA 4:1 (whatever that is...). Anyway to get Vegas 5 to specify MP3 as the audio format? Probably not, but I thought I'd ask...

C'mon, nobody ever uses Vegas for rendering streaming files?

Not for Quicktime, no. I'd recommend Squeeze. Vegas does a GREAT job of encoding to everything except MPEG1 and Quicktime compared to other products out there. But Sorenson looks so horrible at lower bitrates compared to WM9.

Danieljoelle,
I use Vegas to create streaming files but don't use Quicktime format to do it. My preference is Windows Media Player 9 using the default template (best setting) but changing the bit rate to 256K as that loads quickly but still has an acceptable quality rate in the smaller viewing window. Vegas is very flexible in this area so recommend you try the recommended settings but also experiment with others. I'm sure Vegas can meet your need (even in Quicktime). You can see examples of my stuff on our home web site at: http://www.cr-home-videos.com . Click on the samples page and then click on a show. Hope this helps.
Aloha,
Randy
(edit: looks like Spot set the record straight on the Quicktime capabilities, thanks Spot)

thanks for the responses. ..
I would definitely use WMV 9 if I could, but the website (customflix) specifies it MUST be Quicktime. I'd rather not have to invest in Procoder or Sorensen JUST to create a trailer.

2 questions:
1. How is the Sorensen 3 included in Vegas different from Sorensen squeeze, and
2. I take it there ISN'T a way in Vegas to render to a Quicktime file with the audio as MP3?
