Stretch sound

I want to take a voice and stretch a word. The word is C'mon and I want it to be longer like C'mooooon. Is there a way to do that? I tried copying the section and pasting but it sounds choppy. I just want that one instant of sound to play longer. Thanks.

Split the audio event before and after the word. Then position the cursor over the trailing part of the word event, hold down the ctrl key and drag to the right. It might change the pitch some, but I believe there is an option for that in the Properties.
