Time selection gets "stuck".
Frequently the time selector tool will get turned on and then refuses to let go. Once the time selection is active on the bar on the top of the timeline, the time selection will activate whenever I try to drag a selection on a track. That is, when I place the cursor on a selected event and attempt to drag the selected event on a track either forwards or back on the track, the time selection tool thinks I want to select a time range so it won't let me drag the event but instead draws a time selection where I've moved the cursor.
The only way to fix the stuck time selector is the exist VV3 and then reopen the program. The time selctor then behaves normally... until the problem starts up again.
Any suggestions as to how to avoid this annoying behavior?
