Studio 10 crashes

I had just finished editing a 12 minute movie.added all the music and dialog and credits and titles when I moved the curser ready to start the Make movie operation and the application hung up "not responding" and nothing would move.I had to do a restart of Studio 10 and guess what ,nothing had been saved of my last two hours of work. This has to be the worst piece of software I have ever used. I wonder if Sony ever reads these Forum notices or is this all just one bad joke.

Did you report the problem to Tech Support? What format of video are you working with?

You edited for two-hours and never did a Save or Save As? I always do a Save As every 10 to 15 minutes, Project v1, Project v2, etc. That way if something happens you have a previous version to fall back on.

Also if you have your settings right, Vegas will have saved up to your last edit (some people don't like to have this on) :enable autosave" in prefs. So, you may have a backup file sitting on your HDD.
