Studio 8 Does not Capture

The program does not show any device to capture from. Even though the device shows up in Windows and my old Pinnacle program. Running Vista and camera is Sony HC3. Help!

You need the "Platinum" version of Vegas to capture HDV. The cheap Movie Studio version only does plain DV, not HD.

If you don't have any other means of capturing HDV, you can use a freeware program called HDVSplit.
