StudioDC10 capture problem

Hey folks.

I've had my DC10 card since late 2001 and I have had no need to complain until lately. In December I began getting some messed up captures. When I'd edited and then rendered a project in Vegas, the result was not the usual nice smooth picture. It was jagged looking. I tried messing with the field order in Vegas, but it didn't work.
Something even stranger about my latest capture... I captured a 40 minute program in 3 parts and the render I made showed the jaggy rubbish I had been seeing. But the 3rd part of the show was somehow perfect looking! No jaggies, nothing wrong. Btw, I capture with Studio8.

However, the codec that I'm playing back with in XP is Morgan Mjpeg v3 and it has an option to invert fields. For the heck of it, I tried it and it worked. The first two parts looked very good. But now the 3rd part was looking crap!

Now, I'm wondering, is there a piece of software or maybe a function in Vegas that can invert the fields of a video clip? I know VirtualDub has a function like this and it does work. But I see that it will require a recompressing of the material to a new file. :( Is there a prog that can do it without recompressing?

Any ideas?

Peace,
Adam.
