Two days ago I shot a project that had to be delivered the following day. I used a Panasonic DV-10 and imported the 2 hours to my laptop via ScenalyzerLive. Clips were approximately 3 minutes each. There were 2 video tracks and 3 audio tracks. By the way, I was working from a hotel room with limited resources.
The edit went well. I prepared to print to tape and make a VHS simultaneously through the camera output.
The problem occurred about 10 minutes into the print. The signal dropped out and the monitor screen went to digital garbage. I restarted the process numerous times, even using a different camera, cables, w/wo the VHS connected...all of the possible combinations that I could conjure up.
After hours of frustration, I rendered the entire 41 minute project to AVI, then used the ScenalyzerLive print to tape. This worked wonderfully.
I have done this same project many times before without incident. Any ideas as to what could have been the problem.
