Hi, I am doing my first Blue Ray production.
Is it correct that DVDA Pro 5 renders an ISO file you have to burn to disc?
I am awaiting my BR burner but already prepared the file to burn. But was kinda surprised to find out it's just an ISO file created by DVDA, while I was expecting a sort of usual DVD file structure.
I assume that Nero 8/9 will burn the Blue Ray disc form that ISO file flawlessly.
Does that also mean that the whole project must be rerendered if you change just a single thing e.g. in the menu structure, while with standard DVD DVDA uses the SPREPARE.SPSS for minimal rerender processing?
Even if I use the Blue Ray template from Vegas to render out to m2v files, it takes forever for DVDA to render this ISO file. Is that normal?
When applying a DVDA template from Vegas to render to MPG, DVDA renders to DVD in no time.
Another weird thing I found is that if you use m2v files in DVDA and want to render out to normal DVD, the aspect ratio is not exactly the same and you have to use crop to get the standard 16:9 aspect ratio, which obviously adds to rendering time.
Is HD 16:9 Video not exactly the same as SD 16:9?
