Stuttering Playback Success Solution!!!!

Here is our solution for correcting stuttering playback:

1. Click the "Bypass all Video FX" button in the video preview window.

2. Go to Options> Preferences> Audio and adjust the "Playback buffering to a low 0.100. Try making adjustments as little as 0.010. (0.090, 0.100, 0.110, etc.)

This should solve the stuttering problem!

And if it doesn't fix it, can I send a bill to the same address for the wasted time I spent? :)

If i may make a couple of additional observations ...

This topic is quite well addressed in the Vegas help screens already.
The help screens even explain what this process does and why.

Hmmmm. It seems like disabling all Video FX would somewhat defeat
the reason for previewing. I'd rather get a good idea of what my project
looks like with the effects so that i can see what i'm doing.

Just my two cents.
