Stuttering Video in preview

Hi all. I recently upgraded from Movie Studio 9 to Movie Studio HD Platinum 10 and whenever I'm working on video, the preview stutters. I also have a delay when I try to click forward or backwards through the video to different points. This never happened in 9 and it's making editing hellish.

9 and 10 are both on the same computer. I installed 10 on my laptop, and the problem doesn't exist there. Both computers are running Win 7 64-bit
I know there's gotta be some simple setting that I should be able to change to make it work as it's supposed to, but with 9 working properly and 10 not, I'm not sure where to check. Any suggestions?

Yes, this is a frequently mentioned and complained about problem with V10. For some reason the preview function in V10 got noticeably worse than V9. Hopefully there will be a fix Real Soon Now.

Yes, I have exactly the same problem on 10 and I hear that it's a case of it doesn't affect the final render. It's a bit annoying though and yes, let's hope there's a fix soon

There will NEVER be a fix for this, it's just gonna get worst as the newer version arrive.
