Sub-bins disappear

Hi,
I'm editing a documentary on the ancient centre of a small town. To turn the work easier, I've divided the captured source into many bins and sub-bins. To avoid data loss and damage, I always work with daily backup copies of my project when it comes to apply relevant changes. Well, I've noticed many of the sub-bins of the original project have disappeared in the more recent backup copies I'm working with. Why does this happen? If I import the new project into the original project timeline to retrieve the original media explorer setup, will this cause multiple compression (and image quality loss)? And what if I import into the timeline a project that already contains another imported project? Thank you

That should NOT happen. Sounds like a "save" bug? Send to SCS - sounds like a bug to me.

No. I believe what you are describing (?) is a Nested Timeline. SO no, that wouldn't alter from the original media quality. However you may notice a loss of Preview quality. The Nested Project comes in as Proxy file and as such the power of your PC will determine if it can keep up with the proxy file AND your other material on your Timeline.

You would get the quality that was in that underlying Project. I've used Nested Projects often and the quality in final render is what I would expect to get. If you aren't getting the same as your expectations then something IS amiss.
