Subclip+VeloEnvel - Snap to End?

Grazie wrote on 12/5/2005, 11:42 PM

Can somebody check this one out:-

Create a subclip from a Trimmer event.

Place Subclip on Timeline.

Insert Velocity Envelop into Subclip.

Drag velo line UP - motion speeds up, and I get the repeat "notches" - expected.

Now drag back the end in order to only have a single, non-repeated speed-up subclip. When you shorten/drag back end, are you finding the "end" doesn't snap? For me it's kinda indecisive.

Somebody please check - I thank you! !

Grazie

This issue has been reported a few times. It doesn't matter whether the clip comes from the trimmer or not. If you add a velocity envelope to any video clip snapping at the end no longer seems to work. I think this started with 6.0b.

Yes it did . .and yes I know . . however, I'm now on V6c. A lot of the snap to ends was improved in V6c. My point is this, HAS this one escaped thru' the V6c fixing-net OR is it me? I'm talking about rolling back to the first repeat notch.
