Subject: Vegas Pro 23 - Persistent Thumbnail Cache Purging

Hi everyone,

I'm experiencing a very frustrating issue with VEGAS Pro 23 (Legal version) where the timeline thumbnails constantly disappear and reload during scrolling.

I want to emphasize that I previously used a pirated version of VEGAS and everything worked perfectly—smooth, no thumbnail issues, and very stable. Based on that great experience, I decided to support the developers and buy the legal license because I truly believe VEGAS is a superior software compared to Adobe Premiere.

However, since switching to the legal version (VP23), I've had this persistent UI/thumbnail cache purging. When I scroll through the timeline, events appear empty and then slowly reload one by one. This happens even for parts of the timeline I was just looking at seconds ago.

My System Specs:

CPU: Intel Core i9-14900K

RAM: 64GB DDR5

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Ti

Storage: All Media and OS are on high-speed NVMe M.2 SSDs.

It is quite disappointing that the legal version is underperforming compared to the pirated one on the exact same hardware. Does anyone know a specific Internal Preference to "lock" the thumbnails in the cache so they stay persistent?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
