I must be blind, but all I've ever seen in the color set props are the changes in color and trans. I'm not seeing any method of increasing the actual size of the outline from the 1 point it appears to be to a 2 or 3 point outline.
Please open DVDA 2.0. On the right of the screen, on Color Set 4, there are 4 numbers. Click on each one for an explanation, i.e.:
1 - it's for fill color;
2 - it's for anti-alias color;
3 - outline/background color (increase this one);
4 - for transparent color.
That's all.
Sorry, but as far as I know this is it. If you're definitely not satisfied, you can try Subtitle Workshop (search for it at www.videohelp.com - it's freeware), despite the fact I've never succeeded importing projects (I save them as Sonic DVD Creator) from Subtitle Workshop to DVDA, the way you configure them with Subtitle Workshop. I mean, if you adjust thickness and size with Subtitle Workshop, it seems that this cannot be preserved as you import the file to DVDA. Anyway, you can try to save with Subtitle Workshop as another format such as Mac DVD Studio Pro (DVDA will accept this too).
;)
ow I was really afraid you were going to say something along those lines. Haven't had any luck getting DVDA to accept any formating out of Sub Workshop either, so have just saved them as a non-accepted format, converted to one it likes by hand, and manually go through reapplying the formating. I think I'll just come up with a non-standard color for the subs since the whites and yellows disappear too often.
