hello,
I work with " acid3 pro " for the buckles and the noon. I hope for a lot of the files " dls ".
with " sound forge 6 " for the edition of the files " waves ".
" végas video3 " for the registration audio.it is my direct to disk.
I would like to have in " acid and végas " a direct tie to publish the midi with a module.
a few as " acid and vegas " for the edition of the files waves.
it would permit to fully benefit of an edition midi.

there is my suggestion.
good continuation.

me yours has tell you that the set of the 3 software are superior to protools,cubase, nuendo, logic platinum and sonar if one adds the access to a module of edition midi.

ok,et merci,
j'aimerais pouvoir accéder à un séquenceur midi depuis végas.
un peu comme nous faisons avec l'éditeur de son comme soundforge ou wavelab;
dans la barre du menu nous pouvons exporter un fichier et le ramener dans végas après traitement..;
il sufirait que végas puisse lire les fichiers midi comme acid pro3.
ainsi cette suite de logiciels serait exeptionnelle face à la concurrence.

Here's the translation;

"I would like to be able to access a midi sequencer from Vegas similar to what we can do with sound editors such as Sound Forge or Wave Lab. It would be great if we could export a file through the menu bar and bring back it in Vegas after treatment. It would be sufficient enough if Vegas could read MIDI files, as can be done in Acid Pro 3.0. Thus this software upgrade would make the product exceptional compared to its competition."

Anything else... I could even translate Rednroll's reply if that would help you gjn.

I'm not sure what is being asked here, because Wavelab and Sound Forge don't read midi files. Vegas works the same way that Sound Forge does, in that it can sync to an external sequencer. If you need midi tracks along with your audio tracks, then you need to use a program like Logic Audio, Cakewalk or Acid. Otherwise, what I do is sync Vegas to my external sequencer and record the audio tracks into Vegas that way. This is a very simple task, that can be done using midi timecode options in Vegas.

merci à Rahl pour la transcription;

He wants to be able to open MIDI clips from Acid or Vegas into a MIDI file editor. Much in the fashion that wave files can be opened in Sound Forge for editing. I've thought of this myself and actually wished that Sonic Foundry would make a simple MIDI editor.

Translation from gjn,

"If I understand correctly, Vegas can be synchronized with an external midi sequencer by PC or software?"

Really?

Yes, his assumption is correct. You can sync up Acid or Vegas with an external sequencer and then you can edit within your midi data within your sequencer. I prefer this method of working, since I'm very comfortable working with my current sequencer and haven't found a combo audio/midi program that does both together very well. Cakewalk, Cubase, or Logic audio still have nothing in my opionion of my combination of Vegas and Studio Vision. When I first tried Acid with the new midi tracks, I was very disappointed because you can't edit the midi data. It's only good for playback, which means it has to be created in a seperate sequencer anyways. So it's pretty much a useless feature for me, since I can already sync up Acid and Vision also.
