Suggestion for Media Manager

I noticed that DVDA2 has a compilation-page tab that displays a column of thumbnails of the photos being used in a compilation, with some file information alongside it in an adjoining column.

Question: How difficult would it be to adapt this form to Vegas 5's media manager tab? At present you can view an excel-style list of columned data, or a thumbnail of the video, but not both in the same window. Would be great to have a further option of being able to view the thumbnail in the first column, with the file data strung alongside it. It seems it's basically the data table with a thumbnail in the first cell. No?

GREAT idea! Would be a lot more consistent.
Brian, you listening?

Just a bump to flag this topic to the powers-that-be. Being able to click on a Media Bin option that produces a thumbnail alongside the file (or EDL) information is also REAL close to being able to produce a storyboard....

Sounds good to me. It would be nice to shuffle thumbnails around with the mouse, but if we did what you're suggesting, you could at least enter numeric sequence numbers in the "comments" field and resort.

Good point. I could also type the scene and take numbers, and see the connected thumbnail at a glance.
