Suggestion: Track Motion

How about adding Z-axis support for Track Motion, including perspective compensation? Would be nice to do some cool flips and zooms, with or without the sensation of depth. Also a better way to ease-in or ease-out in the tweening interface would be good. Another neat thing would be some sort of motion-preview within the track motion interface using the F-bounding box or the like. Some compositing can slow even draft preview down to a crawl and I have to render just to get an idea of what my tweening job will actully look like.

Any old Amiga-folk might remember a similar feature-set from the 'Move' menu in DeluxePaint or the 'Tweening' menu in Brilliance..

GG,

I went through your tutorial a couple of weeks ago and it works great. I wish there was a way to encapsulate this into a transition since there are a lot of steps to go through for each time one does this. It's also hard to copy from one project to the next so one has to recreate it (not your fault by any means). I learned a great deal from that tutorial and some other you guys have done and I appreciate it greatly. Thanks for taking the time to bring us newbies along...

I have found that all of the VV3 features work fine if you read the f**king manual! Also, a quick phone call to SF telephone support will help open your eyes...and allow you to see how frigging EASY it really is to do. Don't try to over-complicate the program by thinking the process they suggest is really very simple.

Actually I read the VV2 manual cover to cover, went through the tutorials that came with VV2, and the ones in the separate Advance tutorial disc. I've read lots of the new manual, but it is not as convenient to read as the printed VV2 version. Thus far, I haven't bothered SF with support phone calls as I find this BBS to be excellent for getting information quickly. All that said, I think that adding features that continue to encapsulate useful ideas (like GG's 3D thing) makes sense.

BTW, do you think that using **'s in a word makes it less offensive as if someone could not fill in the blanks. And if the manual is so worthy of that kind of description, why would I want to read it? Sounds to me like your opinion of it is not very high. :)
