After using VV 2g demo for the past week or so, I'd like to see a couple of simple changes that would make using VV a bit easier:
1. I need to be able to right click on a transition and input the duration in seconds/frames, similar to Premier and Media Studio Pro. Having to zoom in on the timeline, and "drag and guess" is not precise enough. After plowing through the documentation and help files, I was surprised to learn that this simple procedure does not exist in VV2g.
2. Give the trimmer it's own scrub control, and show the video AND AUDIO in the preview window while scrubbing in the trimmer. Again, a common feature of other video editors.
I qualify to upgrade to both Media Studio Pro 6.5 and Premiere 6 for $199.00 each. I can also drive one mile to Best Buy and buy VV 2 for $149.00. What assurance do I have that these features, common among other video editors, will show up in VV 3 or hopefully before? I would be interested to read the opinions of others in this forum regarding this subject. Thanks!
