I have a cdrom demo that as an mpgeg comes out to be 62mbs. Quite big for a web video eh? ; )
What is a good setting to use say wmv 9` to get it down to a small size and not kill the quality to much.

I appreciate the advice here to see what others are using as settings for the web. I would like to be able to cater to 56k and cablemodems or something inbetween would be great.

Thank you guys and gals

David

I actually use the Windows Media encoder to encode stuff for the web. A lot of the time I will use the setting for Pocket PC, and it gives me a farily small file size and still good quality, otherwise I will use the file download selection and set the video at VHS quality, and the audio at CD quality audio. You can check out a clip I encoded here:

For this one I used the File download selection.
