Hello Friends,
I'm back from my summer of media in the mountains. A couple dozen videos later, we have some new Vegas converts (and most of them were using Final Cut before). I had a blast showing other editors how easy it was to use Vegas for basic cuts as well as more advanced editing, color corrections, transitions, and of course the ease-of-use masking tools. It didn't hurt that we could export straight to MP4 Video for additional HQ YouTube-Happy compressed files. Better yet, every potential 21st century editor kid knew the software of choice is Sony Vegas. All in all, I'd just like to say a big thank you to the developers (if they see this), but also an especially big thank you to all the users on here who have been helping me out these last couple years.
I would love to conclude this post with links to some of the videos, but the camp is currently going back and forth about their videos being on the internet. It's too bad, because I know the kids would love to show their friends and family some of what they did at camp, but I have a feeling they'll be online soon - the demand is there - and we all know YouTube is free.
I've got a lot of catching up to do, but if you guys wanna throw me some links in here to some interesting posts, I'd love to get my read on. Hope all are well!
Jonathan
