Super Resolution Technology (SRT)

There is a story in today's Sacramento Bee about a young producer/director who used SRT to enhance his film. Go to http://www.sacbee.com/entertainment/story/1594021.html
he is now working with a young partner to make this technology available in an easer-to-use format. It uses the same technology that the government uses in satellite visuals.

I saw that movie in a theater at a recent film festival.

Looked good because they really understood what they could do and what they shouldn't, i.e. they worked within their limitations.

You won't confuse it with the output of a 4K Dalsa, but then there is a lot of artistic expression where this is not necessary.
