Posted this thread a short while ago:

Wavehammer bug

Had no response in the forums, so when I was satisfied I could repeat the problem, and narrowed down the symptoms, I sent in a support request last week. It was more of a bug report, but they don't seem to have a heading for that.

Had the usual auto-reply email to inform me that my query had been received.

Just checked my support page on tihs site today, a week later, and next to my submission it says 'solved'?

Really? Thanks for letting me know! I don't know how they've solved it but Wavehammer surround is still broken on my pc. Nothing in my email inbox, and expanding the support thread shows that there is no reply there either. But I can sleep sound now because it is 'solved'.

I wanted at least to hear "thanks, it's been added to our bug database' or similar (unless there is a fix already). Please sony?

Have updated the query in the 'my support' section, to ask what the solution actually was... will now wait a bit more and see what developes.

strange they didn't even reply & marked it solved... :/
I need to call tech suppt about the audio plugins that are always in demo mode in v6c. I just haven't had time yet.

Several months ago, I reported to Sony support that I could not use Pan & Crop with clips returned from Boris pluggins. I too did not receive confimation that it was either received or a bug in the program or even that I had my head in a dark place. After several weeks, I assumed that Sony's email support was just a black hole.

Then to my suprise, two months later, an email arrived that acknowledged the problem and advised me to talk with Boris. It seems that pluggins have to explicitly tell Vegas whether or not their returned media can be P&C'ed. Grafiti and FX wasn't doing that.

Anyway, all I can say is be patient...
