Support for Canopus Products planned?

I have RexRT, a big spendy hardware package that does great stuff but I want to be able to use VV3 as well on the same clips. I don't want to have to recapture them just to work on them in VV3...

Does anyone know if I need to bug Sonic Foundry to make it work or Canopus or both?

Also, any of you out there that have both, what do you think, if you had to live with just VV3 and give up RexEdit, what would you miss the most? Would you do it?

Does Rex work with .avi files? If so, Vegas will probably be able to use the same files. Vegas is pretty much format independant and reads/writes most any media files.

I doubt it will be able to import/export Rex's project files (edl's) though.
