Support for PCTV / pclepim1 ?

While 99% of my work is all DV based, I do have some video
which I have captured off of broadcast television with my
Pinnacle Systems PCTV. This TV tuner card creates AVI
files, apparently encoded in PIM1 or PCLEPIM1 format -- a
Pinnacle proprietary format. However, being AVI files,
Windows Media Player 7 has no problems playing back these
files.

However, Vega Video 2.0b will only recognize the audio
portion of these files -- is there a way to let Vegas know
that these are VIDEO and audio files, and then let the
codecs "do their thing?" I thought Vegas could handle any
well-formed AVI file (and since WMP7 can handle the file, I
assume the codecs are properly registered).

Am I missing some important step, or is there a good
explanation why this does work? (And any recommended work
arounds -- perhaps some other program that can convert
these AVIs into a different format?)

Solved my own problem. Went to Pinnacle and downloaded
ftp://ftp.pinnaclesys.de/driver/pc/pctv/Pclepim1.exe
and then all was well.
