Support of P2 files

I have a Panasonic AG-HVX200PJ video camera that uses P2 cards. I also have Vegas 8.0a. Does 8.0a support P2 files? When I try to import them, I get an error that Vegas does not recognize the format.

No, you will require an additional plug-in to work with them directly. Raylight is one. I believe there is at least one other.
