I almost forgot to post in this forum... silmy me concidering how much i'm learning here.

We just finished a spec for a deodorant about a ninja who lost his ability to sneak up on people...

Rough cut was edited on Vegas but then we went to Avid Adrenaline as we didn't want to compresses after teh color correction.

Couldn't you have rendered the edited DVX100 footage to say a 4:2:2 uncompressed or mildly compressed codec before applying color correction?

Synthetic Aperture's Color Finesse 1.5 for example uses a 32-bit floating-point color space, this would give minimal if not invisible artifacts.

Yeah all those works around would probably work but hell it's so much easier to just do it all in one software. Don't get me wrong i still love Vegas.

Where it will play... TV screens and monitors of ad people who will hopefuly give me a job after they see whole series...
